Franchise Tag: I would like to invoke Section 7, Article 1 of the rule book related to "Tags and Options", which specfically states "simply put, Trouts contract expires and the GM can use a Franchise Tag, multiply his salary by 1.5 and re-sign him to 1-4 more years."
On that basis, I elect to use a Franchise Tag on Mike Trout, multiplying his salary by 1.5 and extending his contract for 4 years. This would be 4 years and 16.5 mil.
