Gents,
I've notice that some teams do not use all of their flex tags. Therefore, I'm proposing teams having the option to transfer one flex tag into current FYPD draft compensation.
Proposal: Teams would be given an option to transfer one flex tag into current year FYPD 3rd rd compensation.
Reasoning:
- Since we cannot trade our flex tags without a player attach, this would allow teams to "trade" their tag (i.e. 3rd rd compensation pick), if desired. - Essentially, this would allow a chance for more UFAs in the market.

We have completed a GroupMe poll and decided on late rd compensation (other than 3rd rd) for one flex tag per team for each off-season. Check Groupme poll for deciding which late rd (4th or 5th) for flex tag compensation. |
