As of the winner of the World Series, the champion will be awarded a one-time flex tag that can only be used the off-season following the World Series or 1.31 FYPD pick for the following draft. That tag will follow regular tagging rules as applies to Franchise, RFA or trading. The champion must a decision before both draft and tag deadlines, they either "use it or lose it."
